I’ve been involved with fitness, health and nutrition since the late 1970’s. This blog and the associated website www.thehealthandfitnessguide.com were created in order to help disseminate useful (hopefully) information concerning all aspects of health and fitness. While I’m a firm believer that, whenever possible, prevention of problems through healthy diet and regular exercise is vastly superior to the use of drugs and other trappings of conventional “health care” - which usually only treat symptoms, and not the actual problem, I’ll be posting information written by a number of different individuals with a variety of experiences and viewpoints.
